This UCE/spam was found posted to the news group alt.cuddle.rebels by what appears to be one of your users. As I am sure that you are a reputable service provider, I would think that spam is against your TOS. I would appreciate any help you can provide in this matter. I have included the full IP headers and message below. Thank you for your time and concern.

I am writing to you because one of your users has been causing problems on the newsgroup alt.cuddle.rebels . While not all out abuse of your service, it is also not exactly a valid contribution to the newsgroup.

I have included below one of the abusive messages and the headers for messages that this user has posted in the same vein.

I was hoping that you could look into this and perhaps talk to this user about this situation so that it doesn't happen again.

One of your users recently crossposted the message below to alt.cuddle.rebels, alt.clueless, alt.fan.karl.malden.nose, alt.alien.vampire.flonk.flonk.flonk, alt.suicide-recovery, and alt.binaries.sex in order to incite a flamewar between these unrelated newsgroups.

I know that you are a reputable ISP, and that crossposting of this nature is a violation of your Terms of Service contract. I was hoping that you could inform this user about your TOS and deal with him in any way you see fit.

One of your users is abusing your service in order the threaten members of the newsgroup alt.cuddle.rebels. Included below is the letter which contains a direct threat of bodily harm to the users of this newsgroup.

I understand that sometimes users may say something in jest, but given the nature of recent events involving users of usenet these threats must be taken seriously, this is a total violation of federal laws governing the use of communication devices.

I hope that you will deal with this user appropriately.

The newsgroup alt.cuddle.rebels is currently being binary bombed. From the headers on this it looks like your service might be being abused in order to do this.

Although binary bombing is a direct violation of your TOS, I also want you to know that alt.cuddle has many international users, who are paying by the byte/minute to download this.

Could you please use any means necessary to stop this person.

The first ISP you should email is theirs. They can stop the mail bombs much faster, but you should also email your's as well.
